This year’s edition offers two competitive sections of Slovenian short film annual production. Among them the jury will choose the three best films that will be presented at the closing of the K3 Festival in Villach this September, along with other foreign competitors .

In addition to the competitive program, one of the main highlights of the festival is the cinematheque section that will offer the retrospective of cult short documentary films of an outstanding Croatian author Krsto Papić.

The international program will present the selection of winning K3 films and short films of the up and rising Austrian authors, gathered under the Cinema Next project.

We will transcend the fluid borders of the definitions of short films with two Slovenian omnibuses: Desperado Tonic and Three Contributions to Slovene Madness.

Screenings will take place at two locations, Slovenian Cinematheque and Museum Square Metelkova, where we will spend some quality cinematic time together under the starry sky or join the accompanying program such as round tables on perspective of short film and other film&music events.

Welcome!
